Sunbelt Rentals
iOS & Android App
This was such a rewarding project. I worked with a brilliant team on such complex problems to develop a 200-page app that elegantly handles hundreds of complicated user flows, form fields, and error states while interacting with a convoluted backend. As the Primary Visual Designer, I watched my vision come to life.
Content Cards
I designed a system of headings, subheadings, text, and dividers in the cart experience that repeated throughout the app. This build consistency crafted a user experience in which the user always knows how information would be structured on any given page.
Unfortunately, I had to work with a previous designer’s font and font ramp, thus the limited test styles made it difficult to establish a hierarchy. This is the one thing that I wish I could improve about the designs.
Current and Past Rentals
Users previously navigated by scrolling through one enormous page, but I proposed that tabs for the Current, Upcoming, and Past Rentals pages would create a more enjoyable user experience. We compared the two designs in user testing and found users preferred my “easier” and “more intuitive” tabbed design.
